Last year for a Public Relations class I took for University we were tasked with developing a hypothetical PR campaign for the final project. For the project we had to choose a company or business that was suffering from an image problem and create a 12 month PR proposal to address this issue. I decided to choose Formula 1, which while at the time was growing significantly in popularity, continued to receive criticism for it's lack of female representation.
My campaign focuses on using Formula 1's established multi-media platforms and relevant publics to increase female interest in the sport and slowly reshape the sports image in to a may inclusive environment. I am very proud of what I did with this project and received very positive feedback from the professor. I am very proud of the final proposal and thought I should put up here on Pure Racing.
